Hillary Clinton is undoubtedly used to the pillorying she has experienced from the right wing and from the media. It is hard to guess whether or not she expected it from the bosses of her own party, but as a polished politician and a smart woman, it probably was no shock. It wasn't a shock to me either but it does go well beyond disappointment. Women are in a majority in this country. The majority of women support Hillary Clinton. Why is she not winning this race; even though, in spite of media reports, she has not lost it? It could be as simple as a friend who wasn't given a nudge, to give another friend a nudge, and so on and so on... OK, it looks like this going down to the super delegates and the convention so there are still steps you can take. Inundate the Democratic National Committee with your opionions! Pass it on: Why vote for this woman? She is experienced in the hard decisions, and whether you agree with any specific decision of any candidate it is overall ability and intention that matters. She is toughand who could question that at this point. And she is smart, not only intelligent but informed about the issues: how to make change happen in a real and legal way. Why vote for this woman? Because she is a woman and we all know from experience that she has to be smarter, tougher, and better than any man out there. Pass it on. There is still time to change the world. It is as simple as that.

One more opinion on this from Dr. Doris Jeanette (who wrote in LadybugFlights this month):
Who Will Make Your Life Better?
Research shows that past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior . To make a wise choice for your next president
study the facts.
--Hillary is
assertive and will take a stand for you.
She “stood by her man”, she stood up for specific
issues when she was in the Senate and White House. Even her vote for the war
was a vote which she believed would protect Americans. She was wrong due to
George’s lack of ethics.
Note Hillary’s special efforts to create proper health care for every American.
In addition, she has a definite plan for the war exit, the repair of world
relationships and the environ-
ment. She will look in her Rolodex, call up the heads
of state and repair relationships.
-- Obama is not assertive and will not take a stand
on any topic.
When he was in the legislature he passed on over 125 bills, indicating an
inability to vote for or against important issues.
-- Hillary is aware of the reality of children, poor people, minorities and
women.
--- Obama did not grow up on the mainland, he does
not know what life in the ghetto is like, he does not
know what it is like to be poor or female. He is insensitive to the needs of
minorities who suffered though discrimination.
--Real change would be electing a woman for the first time in the history of
the
--Changing the color of a man, especially when he is not an American black
is no change what so ever. With Obama we would
still have a privileged, rich male ruling the hen house. He is backed by money,
big business and words without any past actions to support what he says. The
Wall Street Journal reported he wants to subsidize the car industry instead of
single mothers. This does not appeal to me!!
I met Hillary in person. She is not on an ego trip, she cares!
